TASTE.COM.AU CALENDAR 2012
Low cost way of showcasing your product at 5 events in 2012
Following on from the success of the taste.com.au kitchen and taste sampling activity in 2011, News Ltd and D2C can confirm a calendar that marketers can lock into their plans for next year.
The shows selected are the top 5 shows, based on D2C's experience, in terms of traffic flow and target audience. The 3 royal shows - Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne; are the largest events of their kind in each centre on a per capita basis. The Good Food & Wine Shows in Melbourne and Sydney are the most popular food related trade shows in Australia.
The taste.com.au kitchen and exhibit is a low cost way for companies to showcase and taste sample their products at these prestigious shows. Those companies that commit to all 5 shows will also receive a 10% discount!
Demonstrators will be taste sampling your product every day for the duration of the shows. Your brand will be prominently displayed on the exhibit along side the taste.com.au logo and other News Magazine titles. TVC's and still images of your product will be continuously run on the exhibit's plasma screens. For more information on the taste.com.au branding and taste sampling opportunity please contact either Ben Leigh or Juliette Boussier on 02 9232 2243.

Lindt Swiss Gold
Experiential sampling
Look out for the in-store sampling campaign for the recently launched Lindt Swiss Gold. D2C staff can be seen roaming in your local Coles or Woolworths store taste sampling Lindt Swiss Gold. They will be wearing a Maitre Chocolatier's outfit consisting of a chef-like hat, with a white jacket, scarf and apron. It is all part of the trend in client requests to incorporate more experiential elements into sampling campaigns. Other examples of experiential campaigns recently undertaken by D2C include the Maggi Fusian Noodle Bar, the Berri Australia Fresh (BAF) exhibit at the 2010 Ekka, The Green's exhibit and baking workshop at the 2010 Easter Show and the on-going Flora 'pro-activ' mobile promotion and cholesterol screening. For more information on our services in the area of experiential please don’t hesitate to email Anthony Lechner at anthony@d2c.com.au
